Why the order is not by viewer count

Sorting by size would put everyone on the same handful of huge channels, whose moments established clip accounts already cover within minutes of them happening. The number this page ranks by instead is how far a channel is running above its own recent median, so a mid-size channel at three times its usual audience comes first. That is a real, current reason to watch it, and it is the only urgency claim on this page, because it is the only one that happens to be true.

That ranking only applies above 500 live viewers. A percentage on a very small channel is noise, and more importantly a channel that small rarely carries enough chat for detection to fire at all, which is the most common reason a new account never gets a clip. Smaller channels are still listed, they just do not jump the queue on the strength of a swing between five and twelve viewers. If you would rather pick a category first and a channel second, the niche finder ranks whole Twitch categories by live audience against how saturated they already are with clip channels.

What happens after you pick one

klypra reads that channel's chat while the stream runs and cuts the moments its audience reacts to, then reframes them to 9:16, burns in subtitles and sends the finished file to your phone. The free plan covers one channel at a time, 5 clips a day and 50 a month, with no card. The setup guide walks through the whole thing, and the about page lists what klypra does and does not do.

Picking a channel that is live right now matters more than it sounds: detection compares chat against that channel's own baseline, so it needs a running stream to read before it can recognise anything unusual. A channel added while offline simply waits, sometimes for days.
